TOMORROWLAND AND THE HOLY GRAIL
TOMORROWLAND AND THE HOLY GRAIL
A friend of mine recently visited Valencia in Spain, which reminded me of the trip my wife and I took there 9 years ago. It was a city that was both steeped in history, but looking to the future.
The City of Arts and Sciences (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias) is an architectural complex designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, and was was used as a filming location for the movie 'Tomorrowland', as their utopian futuristic city. At the other end of the scale, you have the 13th century Metropolitan Cathedral–Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady of Valencia (Iglesia Catedral-Basílica Metropolitana de la Asunción de Nuestra Señora de Valencia), claiming to be the home to the true Holy Grail.
